Writing Chinese characters – Verbs

In this section, you can review the writing of Chinese verbs stroke by stroke. Chinese writing isn’t very difficult, but it is very important to follow the order and direction of the strokes if you want to write Chinese characters correctly.

At this early stage, we study the writing of basic verbs such as:

  • to eat,
  • to drink,
  • to hear,
  • to look/ see,
  • to think/ miss,
  • to love,
  • to call or name,
  • to go,
  • to be,
  • to think & feel,
  • to have,
  • to recognize or to know somebody,
  • to like or enjoy,
  • to sleep,
  • to want.

These will allow you to express different types of basic sentences and ideas included in basic conversations. We will cover new series of verbs in another new section soon.
